Coil Spring compatiblity with different years?
I'm replacing a bunch of suspension parts and I found some used springs locally that I am hoping will fit. I've looked all over this site and can't find the info I need. Hopefully someone can help me out.
The front coil springs I found are from a 73-87 truck, and I was wondering if they would also fit my 66 truck. I am pretty sure they will fit 67-72, but I'm not sure if they will fit my 66. Thanks for any help you can give. |

They're not exactly the same but will interchange.

Re: Coil Spring compatiblity with different years?
I just found out that the springs are actually from a 67-72, not 73-87. Hopefully this means that there is a better chance of them fitting.

Re: Coil Spring compatiblity with different years?
I think I'm just gonna carefully cut 1 coil of the stock front springs for now. The 3" drop springs are too much drop with out doing a ton of other suspension work.
