Re: 1971 sb 350 motor mount question
I don't think so. At least those that I have seen for '73 up look like a bolt thru the side to attach the motor mount to the tower.
Now when we put the 454 in my '71 we used the complete '73 set to mount the motor.

Re: 1971 sb 350 motor mount question
I have a 80 c10 350 in my 67, not sure if the mounts are from the 80 but they don't line up with my 67 x-member (now a 69 x-member). I just drilled the 1 hole that didn't fit and it works perfect. It lined up on top of the frame, but on the top of the x-member, my mount only had 1 hole and it did not line up with any of the ones their, quick easy drill and worked great. I used a template from my old bent x-member, traced it to paper and drilled up. PM if you need help mounting those or just buy the correct ones. Good luck! I have some pictures in my build thread.

Do you have the clam shell or the screw threw the motor mounts?

Re: 1971 sb 350 motor mount question
I realize this is 2 years old but how does the 3 bolt work? Does the bolt go through the tower side and up to the mount? Does the mount act as the bolt? Or is it the apposite? Please have patience, this is my first project.
