Anybody have an at home powdercoat kit??

I have been looking at some kits to do some powdercoating of small parts and was wondering if any of you guys had one or had any comments on what to buy or not to buy?? I was looking at Eastwood Company and liked theirs, but am not sure?

Reviews on the products at eastwood's website might help you make a decision.

I read the reviews and it seems like a good system and affordable compared to paying a shop to do small parts.

We have the Eastwood "Hot Coat" System. Works out very well with an ordinary oven (we got free on craigslist). The key to good powder coating.....prep work. We have a cabinet media blaster with a 60 gallon compressor and a good moisture seperator. I say go for the Eastwood Brand.

Re: Anybody have an at home powdercoat kit??

I've got an eastwoods too and love it. So much nicer than working with paint, reducer, hardener, etc and much more durable than paint. The only thing that sucks is the space the oven takes in my 2 car garage.
