I want to upgrade my windshield wiper motor and squirters. I am going to replace the motor, all the hoses, pump, and bottle. Which would be the best way to go with this? Should I just go back with all bolt in parts? I am going to go with a bolt in wiper motor. But was wondering about the squiters. Also would like to put delay wipers on it at this time. I did a search and found a set up that blue 69 did, but I am kind of confussed about what all is needed, and how to wire it in, so if someone can help me out here and clear this up a little.

I have heard of some folks using a pump which submerges in the bottle in place of the original pump, these are obtained from a salvage yard from newer style vehicles.
There are aftermarket nozzles that do work better (2 streams instead of one) I believe someone stated that they come with the lights attached versions being sold at auto supply stores these days. They also said that you could remove the lights from these and just use the nozzles.

I have not done either of these conversions just what I have picked up from previous posts.

alternatively, you can rework the wiper system, using the newer 73-87 style. the systems are already very similar, would not take much work. just a suggestion. good luck!!
