Newb from illinois
so i just picked up this 78 stepside about a week ago from my friends dads shop. i've never done a classic or anything with a v8 (I'm an import kid and getting real sick of that scene) so i picked this up and am loving every bit of it. here are some pics so far
some pics of the truck when i found it After i pulled it out of the trees and killed all the damn hornets, truck smelled like animals and piss got it home to the garage and got her running real nice took picks of some of the things i will be working on first since i'm out of funds till the end of next week I really want to try and save the chrome i think the bumpers can be saved but im not sure about the side steps what do you guys think? not really sure about this dash pad so i got rid of it plus it smelled real bad few pics of the engine and heres a pic of the bed as it is right now spent the last of my cash on some parts and stuff for the truck |

Welcome to the "Big Boys" playground! That's a great looking stepper! Good luck with the project.
P.S. interesting tail light setup.

Hey mrbox43 ... and on a nice lookin 78 truck. You will have more fun in this truck than the import scene. Best of luck as you start to make that truck yours in personality!!
