billet hood hinges ?

I was at a local car show and saw alot of these billet hood hinges with a gas shock instead of a spring. They were on a variety of cars,so I was wondering if anyone knows if they make them for our trucks.I couldn,t find any of the owners to ask who made them.Pic isn,t very good is from a snap shot from a video

Yes you can. To do it correctly they need to be disassembled before chroming, then reassembled again. Lots of costly labor for not so good results.

and they can be very painful to the guy thats polishing them prier to being plated so that also goes into the cost of having them plated but N2 is right about taking them apart other wise the nicest part is where the hood mounts

iv'e seen alot of poor quality chrome tries at car shows.i think your best bet is to clean them up and rattle can them satin black and let them fade into the background.
