A/C modification
I am trying to get my a/c components off my firewall and locate under the dash. Can anyone tell me if the 88-98 A/C evaporator and housing will work on a 73-87 model? Do the A/C components share the same fittings? I am not expecting a swap without some fabrication. I know vintage air makes a unit that fills this purpose, but at this time I have more time than money.
Also has anyone taken the A/C components on the firewall and re-packaged them (make custom housing) to fit a special application. |

Re: A/C modification
They changed to metric fittings @ 1993.
I have a/c lines on my square from a 1992 half-ton
