Sanding/Stripping Paint,
Hey Guys,
i just a new bed for my truck and i plan on sanding it down to the bare metal and premiering only problem is when im sanding it has 5 coats of different paints on the bed and its taking entirely to long. any way to speed up the process? |

I use the 3m 7772ES Paint and Rust Stripper and an electric drill. Takes a while, but doesn't damage the metal.
I have also used aircraft stripper, but you need a well ventilated area and a mask. It is toxic. Hope this helps. Last edited by Blake_H; 08-11-2010 at 02:27 AM. |

use with power washer and it worked great for stripping paint, grime and rust
