1964-66 tilt column help

Im looking for a tilt column for my truck. I have a 1964 with a 3 on the tree but I want to move the shifter onto the floor and get rid of the tree column.
what tilt column will fit in my truck? I dont mind a little bit of custom fitting but what tilt column are you guys using????

i'm going to try and find a van column so there is no ignition. might be hard to find a van column that came with a manual floor shift tho

Yeap, van column is your best bet overall for fit.

You could always fill the shifter hole.

I shoved a columm out of 73 - 87 C10. You need to bang down the collapsable shaft to keep your distance from steering wheel. I actually even switched over and used the key/ignition as well gaining the locking steering wheel for basic anti-theft.

Yes the van columns are a good fit. One source for van columns that I discovered a couple years ago, is motorhomes. I have a neighbor that dismantles old neglected/abandoned motorhomes. Trouble is most of them have been Dodge chassis', but a couple have been GM chassis'
