cool 4x4 suspension concept...

I was out on the western lakeshore of the state this weekend and saw a pretty cool suspension on a big big ferd super duty. They built custom trailing arms similar to the coil sprung rearends of the 67-72 chebys for the front and rear axles, with air bags on all corners. The trailing arms were parallell with the driveshafts and both axles had track bars too. The rear trailing arms had two bags per side, one directly above the axle and one about 1/2 the size in the middle of the trailing arm. It had 40-44" Mickey Thompsons on it and judging by the squat when the people were jumping into it, I bet it rides smooth as can be! My StD rides like a lumber wagon, I'm surprized my kids haven't ever had neck issues sleeping in their car seats in the back!

Enough of this rant, any comments?
