Lowered and Rally wheel questions

I found a guy that has 2 15 x 10, 2 15 x 8, and 2 15 x 7

He has new tires on the 8's and 7's and would sell all four for $500 or he will sell each wheel, without tires, for $50.

Is that a good deal or is it kind of steep?

Will I have issues with running the 15x10's on the back or the 8's on the front?

I just have cut springs up front now, but I plan on running the 2.5" drop spindles and either 4" springs or air bags.

Thanks

Re: Lowered and Rally wheel questions

And now a questions on tires..

What would be good tire size combos for either the 10's in the back and 8's in the front or the 8's in the back and 7's in the front?

I noticed alot of people run the BF Goodriches, so I am guessing I will probably go with those unless there is another brand that is good.

If your front end is lowered you might run into rubbing issues. My truck did as I had 2" drop spindles installed. I think it was the control arm that I was hitting on turns. Then again...others have had no issues with Ralleys Wheels on a lowered truck. Good Luck.

Re: Lowered and Rally wheel questions

I'm running 15x8 rallys on all four corners with a 4/6 drop.
I have no rubbing issues. But I wish I had 15x10s in the rear.

Re: Lowered and Rally wheel questions

10" truck rallies were never available from GM ... make sure he is measuring the INSIDE of the bead rim ... NOT the outside. If they are truly 10" then they are aftermarket.

GM offered the truck rallies in 8" ... 7" ... & 6 1/2" widths.

Re: Lowered and Rally wheel questions

Thanks Shane for the info. I don't think he was trying to say they were original, he just had these and now has gone to 20" wheels.

Anyone know if I will have clearance issues with the 10" in back?

Re: Lowered and Rally wheel questions

Probably depends on the backspacing I think it needs to be about 4 1/2 inch backspacing

Re: Lowered and Rally wheel questions

You need to speak to member "Bob 68327", he is running a setup just like this or at least very similar and he can most likely provide some good info. I'm sure if you PM him he'll provide some good info and pics of his rig.
