Question Blazer top fabrication? Just a thought.

Yesterday, I picked up a extra, clean single wall top, with the windows and hatch removed, and I began daydreaming about removing the center window section and moving the back section forward grafting it in together at the most attractive angle to form some kind of custom half top, I know a good fiberglass man who can make this happen, But I was wondering if, Has anybody tried something like this before? (pic's) I know it could be ugly, But I'm thinking "light weight" plus a "little shade" The summer sun gets awful hot on the long trips.

Re: Blazer top fabrication? Just a thought.

A couple people/companies have made reproduction half tops in the recent years. As far as I know, nobody on the board has purchased one to date. One company that was making them has gone out of business. The other still has a web site http://sexyhalftop.com/
