deluxe heater control missing bracket?

Hey guys, I have a 64 C10 with the deluxe heater controls with the levers. I am wondering if there is supposed to be a bracket or something that holds it on either side, or if the two screws at the top are the only ones that hold it in. It seems like it needs something else to hold it in besides the top screws...

Re: deluxe heater control missing bracket?

There`s a bracket at the very back end at the bottom that connects it to the lower part of the dash. sort of L shape.

OK, thanks I am definitely missing that piece. The only thing I have at the bottom is the switch and the wiring harness...I'm sure I can probably make-up something that will work.

Re: deluxe heater control missing bracket?

Call me slow, but I just noticed that the heater is supposed to have a bulb behind it. Where does the bulb come from? Is it supposed to be part of the dash light circuit or does it plug into the fusebox somewhere?

Re: deluxe heater control missing bracket?

Thanks for the pic of the bracket it really helps to have a "real" picture; instead of the hand drawn picture in the manual. I don't think they sell these brackets so, I'm going to try to fab my own bracket out of some aluminum.
