Re: my truck need some help
I would trade grills with you, but mine doesn't have any dents in it. Hope you find one. How far are you from Jackson, Tn.?

Re: my truck need some help
A lot of the vendors have lowering blocks that will bring the back down. I think that is the way I am going to go because I like the ride with the stock heavy duty springs.
It may not be the bed that is out of alignment, it may be the cab or a combination of both.

Re: my truck need some help
New cab mounts and bed mounts... heat the coils, and put Flowmasters on it...

Re: my truck need some help
brining a truck down a couple inches by heating the coils isn't unsafe in my book.
But if he wants to go lower... then yes... save the cash to buy the spindles and coils. But the comment from cdowns was nothing less than what I would expect from him... Gary

Re: my truck need some help
True,
I never was a fan of heating stuff myself, being its a coil spring truck, he has a lot of easy options to drop the rear. I wish the GMC was coils cause I would have already dropped it. Getting some weird vibes about the drop shackles and I dont want to put alot into droppin it. Smitty
