?'s for installing complete suspension/brakes from 83 to my 67

I have tried to search and found details but I wanna make sure I know everything before I jump into this swap. I am going to be using a front suspension from a 83 truck and installing it in a 67 c10. My questions go as follow firt where is the best spot to put jack stands to make the swap easy on my 67? 2nd) Can I just remove the pitman arm and ideler arm then take whole suspension out on both trucks? ( I know I need to disconnect brake lines). 3rd) what can I reuse if anything or what will I need to get while doing the swap? Last ? for now I believe is since I am using newer front setup do I need to replace engine mounts since going from 250l to 350? Thanks for any advice guys. Tips are welcome!!!!!

I think you may be better off changing the whole K-member and all for this swap. I don't exactly remember if the control arms and all line up the same. The sbc engine mounts from the 83 will also line up better, I beleive. Hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

It will all bolt in, just drill two holes and enlarge a few more. Having a tapered drift punch or two to align the holes will help a lot. The only problem you will encounter is that the frame itself is taller on the new one, hence the top of the newer engine mounts will either need to be modified or a spacer used. the older engine mounts fit if but you may need to drill new holes at the bottom on the cross-member. You can also bring the sway bay over, just grind off the rivets holding the brackets on the new frame and use grade 8 bolts instead.

Gkesseru can you go into more details for me? I do plan on using the k member but curious about this engine mount problem your talking about and where are the rivets are on the 83 your talking about (on the 83 frame itself I take). Thanks everyone for your help!!
