69 Front Disk Brake Convertion Today!
My front disk brake kit was delivered from CPP the otherday and I just got it installed. With shipping it was just over $400.

Re: 69 Front Disk Brake Convertion Today!
It looks like those are original spindles for the 6 lug, are they? Is a 6 lug rotor an option for this? How were the supplied hoses? By this I mean did you change hard lines to 71-72 or use an adapter to add the lines? Does the kit come with a new master cylinder and prop valve and adapters for them to fit existing hardware. Your front suspension looks good.

This kit mounts to your original 6 lug spindles (Converts it to a disk 5 lug). The kit come's with the caliper hoses, you can get it with a new master cylinder and prop valve but I did have the cash flow right now to do it. I think I will have to change to a 71-72 hard line kit when I get that far, still have a ways to go..

Looks great! Love the home powder coating too. Do you have an old oven you bake it in?

Re: 69 Front Disk Brake Conversion Today!
I did my disc conversion from Early Classics, I called and asked them if I could powder coat the calipers as is or if I had to disassemble the whole thing? They said that a complete disassembly was necessary, this was also confirmed by the powder coat shop I frequent. He said they are a pain in the butt be cause there is a tremendous amount of work involved. I will be curious to see how yours do because it looks like you coated them with all the seals intact. Have you had luck with this in the past?

Re: 69 Front Disk Brake Convertion Today!
You can buy just the braket kit but you would have to round up all misc. The rotors are 70-81 Chevelle and the calipers are 69-72 Camaro.
