this is the 86 short bed i got back in December for 1500. i found a set of 3\4 ton axles out of a 78 and bought them for 400. i went over the rears(new seals bearings ect). they were 4.10 gears! i got a 6" suspension lift and swapped everything over. i still need to get the drive shafts stretched and tie up the loose ends, but i wanted to show yall my progress.

thanks, been wanting to do a short 3\4 ton for a long time. hopefully by the end of next week i`ll have it on the road.

ps oh yea before someone points out the front tire is on backwards, i already know.lol

this past weekend i got almost everything finished. i still gotta bleed the brake lines, install 2 universal joints, cut crossover pipe, and tighten everything up. then its off to the exhaust shop. i can`t wait to drive her....

Well, she is on the road. 3\4 ton rears, 6 in lift, 35in tires, areo exhaust. Now if i could only find someone to do some body work. let me know what yall think.
