Twisted bed.
I have a 72 long bed and when looking at it from behind it looks like the bed is twisted. It seems that the rear driverside corner is higher than the other side. Has anyone experianced this or have a truck with a twisted bed?

I do. I have a 72 shortbed fleetside I just started working on and noticed that the guy I bought it from put washers under the pass side of where the bed mounts to the frame. The body lines on pass side do not line up but from behind it looks perfect when lining it up with the cab. This boggled my mind. I am about to pull the bed off and try to figure this out. I will let you know what I find on mine. I am thinking it may be something with the cab mounts needing to be replaced and floors needing patched. I will let you know what I find with mine when I get to that part of the restoration.

If it's bolted to the frame that is the problem, not the bed itself. You can shim it to compensate, but it really needs to tied down to the floor on the high side, and jacked up on the low side. Done it many times in 38 years of doing body work.

One problem I have had is that the rear cab mounts were bad making the bed look off.
