Talking Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

I need a new set of wheels for the 6.0 Silverado and I need them SOON! I was kinda thinking of some wheels something similar to the Edelbrock 454 wheels. I dont see where they come in our bolt pattern but am just using them as a reference. I need ideas here fellas. Maybe chrome 'Vette Rallys, multi spoke wheels (more than 5 spoke) Any and all ideas and pics will be greatly appreciated. Also if you have some to sell post pics and prices please. Thanks fellas.

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

not the 454 style wheels man those scream ford mustang lol all thats missing is the knock of center caps heres an illustration of a truck with them doesnt look that good in my opinion http://www.sporttruck.com/featuredve...ard/index.html if your looking for vintage look i think these are sick http://www.americanracing.com/browse_vintage.asp (salt flat special chrome by the way) but if your looking for modern i think these would look sick http://www.asantiwheels.com/Wheel_Bu...finish/?wid=62 i just messed with a wheel not sure if youll see it the way i did but u can customize these probably a lot but heres a good example of someone who put luxury wheels on a truck http://truckin.automotive.com/92914/...ack/index.html ...and im not tryin to bust ur bubble man about the eddy wheels just giving my opinion i think ur truck is an inspiration and its sick hands down with the coys...idk if its ur avatar pic truck ur lookin to get wheels for...

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

Since you are going back with the stock front end I think a set of rallies would look really good on it.

What diameter wheels are you looking for ? retro look or modern? I assume you are not going to run the Coys.

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

If you decide on rally wheels I would say 17"...it's stock....with an attitude

Although I love the coys on there and REALLY think your truck is set off with chrome or polished 20" rims.

Maybe 20" smoothies with a custom cap added to the inside?

I vote for stock rallys or 17" rallys or something like that. The truck will have the stock front end on it. It should have stock looking wheels with a twist.

I would like to see these type wheels on the truck. I like the color and I think it would look great with the black paint.

It totally needs a set of 17" Ansen Sprints. Slots are perfect for these trucks. They're cheap, too!

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

Cool Wheels, the correct offset,... and soon,... don't ususally happen.
I vote for something from Billet Specialties.
20x8.5 and 20x10 with the correct backspacing.
(4 to 6 week wait minimun)

I agree....I was thinking 17" rallys available max but 18" is just that much better

And I like the raceline wheels also....the offset is most likely the issue as lolife pointed out

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

Not really. My truck has been off the road since January. Soon to me is before the winter hits. I still have a few months before that happens here.

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

The "caliber" of truck you are building, deserves nice wheels.
They can make or break the truck.
I like Billet Specialties the best.
But Intro Wheels has some nice designs also.

I'd put the cheapest wheels and tires you can find on it for now so you can enjoy it til the winter hits but wile that happens look for some wheels you'll really like

Re: Help! I Need Wheels Bad!!!

Just get two set Josh. Corvette rallyes and some bling bling billets. Swap them when ever you feel like it. It will look great either way.
