Twisted Brake Line
I was replacing the rear rubber brake hose on my 71 Chev swb and I twisted the metal brake line just in front of the 90 degree turn going to the rear axel. Is there anyway to put a union (junction) in the line and replace the last foot or so of the line or will I need to get the entire line?

Re: Twisted Brake Line
Buy a straight line ,and bend it to fit. You can borrow a flair tool from Auto Zone.

Re: Twisted Brake Line
You can replace the last foot or so. just make sure you get the right size and length tubing, and all the fittings and tool you'll need

Re: Twisted Brake Line
This happened to me in the same spot. I just traced the line back along the frame until I found a splice. Removed the line and took it to the parts store. They had a pre-made line that was the right length all I had to do was bend it.
