Headers for 327 3 on the tree transmission

Does anyone know where I can get a set of headers for my 66 short bed c10 to bolt on my 327 v8 small block that will clear the manual tranny linkage for the three on the tree?

There are a few different part numbers of headers that will work with no to moderate modification to the bellcrank. However if you're looking for quick and simple, these headers are designed for these trucks and will clear the bellcrank with plenty of room.

If you are looking for something a little more 'tuned' let me know and I'll show you some of those.

I have the Hedman Hedders on my 63 c10 that are recommended for our year trucks. Zero modification and I have the "three on the tree" linkage.

I have the "tuned" style on my C10, they were on there when I bought it. As you know they are a pain because of the lack of room for maintenance / access to the clutch linkage that snakes through them.

Would it not make a lot more sense, for a street truck, to simply use the Hedman "center dump" style? Any ballpark numbers as to how much HP loss are we talking, tuned vs. non-tuned for a near stock 350?

Re: Headers for 327 3 on the tree transmission

I have Hooker headers on my 64 C10, no problems at all with three-speed manual and column shift. They are made for a 60-66 with 283 and three-speed. They are a bit close to the clutch linkage, but clear the shifter rods easily.

I would guess to say that any differences in performance between a semi tuned and non-tuned header on a stockish small block would be not be detected on the butt dyno.
