New guy from central CA

Hi everybody, new guy from central CA. I created an account when i was doing some research on these trucks, and now I own one!

I bought a '68 C10 longbed, 350 crate motor w/ 3 speed (now floor shift), 3/5 drop, and some mechanical and body work that needs to be done, for $1200. The truck was a desert truck, the cab corners and rockers look solid. It's going to be a weekend fun truck.

It got backed into in a parking lot, the Expedition hit the door, cab, and bed.

Rust free trucks are a huge bonus to keeping your build cost down. Those dents should pull right out and your good to go.

Keep us posted on your progress....

Thanks for the welcome!

That's the exact reason I wanted this truck. I have been looking off and on for a couple years and could not find anything close to that price range that was not swiss cheese.
