Can i put a 1972 truck cab on a 1973 chassis?

Why would you want to do that? The suspension is about the same on both unless you go to the 1988 and up trucks.

![]() The chassis' from '73 and up have leaf springs on 2 and 4-wheel drive. 72 and earlier have a different rear suspension setup that is what NASCAR racing chassis designers adopted years ago. I wish my '96 had a trailing-arm set up like my '69...would make the wife a lot happier.

anything can be adapted to anything //depends on the skill level of the fabricator//it's not a bolt on deal//has different wheelbase too
