Engine Stand to Block bolts

Can any of you upstanding citizens tell me the size of the bolts to mount my 350 to the engine stand. I believe I am going to drop the stand off to my old man and let him play with the motor since he has a little more space to move around than I do........................

Re: Engine Stand to Block bolts

It is a 3/8-16 bolt. Usually about a 4" long bolt will work, depending on your engine stand

buy yourself about 20 washers while you are at it incase the bolts are a hair to long.

Starter bolts work well too.

^ yeah, but those knurled boogers are tough to find. I use nuts that are a size too big, they'll stay on the bolts rather than scattering all over the floor when you pull 'em
