06 silverado po128?
i got a friends truck tring to get it though nc inspection but i have to fix the check engine light first its got code P0128: ECT Sensor Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature. coolant is full runs between 190-210 . truck has a cold air intake on it i was told t-stat and or ect sensor but i thought I'd check with you guys first before i throw parts at it

okay drove it to work this morning 10 mile drive and it didn;t get over 175 degrees so time for a new t-stat and goign to trew ina temp sensopr to since it only 7 dollars

got it fixed thermo stat was stuck open and installed a new temp sensor runs at about 208

MY V6 had the same issue. I didn't notice 9drove it over a year) it till a real cold snap during last winter. Then I got the check engine light and noticed it took a looooong time to warm up. I am soooo glad they build the thermostats that break open now days. So much better than all the stuck closed ones I dealt with in the 70s & 80s.
