Vintage Air firewall cover

Under the heading of what did you do to your truck today... I think maybe the polished end result is too bling... think Im going to anodize it black... what do yall think?

Wow looks great but if you think its too much how about painting the whole thing orange with the exception of the little box where the hoses come out?

I like the looks of it welded and raw finnished. I get mad when i lay some nice beads then someone on the next shift grinds them smooth. It makes me wonder why i try sometimes

Yea, I know, trust me. However I wanted the smooth look on this.. the juries still out.
Heres the finished pic (at least as it sits... the electric blue was my wifes idea) that is anodizing over the polish.
