Front end kits???

Unfortunatley I did some House cleaning weeks ago and threw out all of my Aftermarket Catalogs, thinking I had spares.

My questions is, can anyone point me to a company that has a "Resonably Priced Kit" for the Front End that has:
Upper/Lower Ball Joints
Tie Rod Ends
Idler Arms ect.

My mechanic says it would be cheaper to by a "Kit" than all the parts individually.
Also, the PO put 2 1/2 Drop Spindles on it, so would that affect anything as far as the Fronr End Parts mentioned above, or can I just go with Stock/OEM?

Re: Front end kits???

ECE in Fresno has all that stuff, and they're great to work with. I'm buying more and more stuff from them all the time.

Re: Front end kits???

I just ordered a kit from cpp.
And all the parts where made in tiawan.
I was a little disappointed, I expected better from them.

Re: Front end kits???

Stock parts will be fine with the drop. Check northern auto parts and price a Moog kit. When I did mine nobody could beat their price.

Re: Front end kits???

Star Auto carries Partsmaster (Identical to Moog but about 1/3 the price) Made in USA. I took them and Moog out of the box to compare....same thing. You would definitely save $$ over mail order.

Re: Front end kits???

Be cautious of the kits, most are bundled off shore parts. You'll be replacing them in less than 10K miles. There's a reason these parts are well below the cost of quality US made parts.

Re: Front end kits???

Thanks everyopne for the suggestions!
I would definatley like to stay with "Moog".
I was in the Auto Parts business back in the mid 70's through mid 80's.
In fact I worked for a few "Carquest AP Dealers". (Didn't even know they were still around).

As for CPP, I had a terrible experience with them sending the wrong part to me, and not compensating me for it.
My Truck was in the shop an additional 2 weeks, while they tried to sort things out.
When it was said and done, I swore I'd NEVER use them agai.
With cheap parts in their "Kits", I'm glad I didn't.

Thanks Again!
