Receiver hitch for '60-'62 Suburban?
Has anyone found a receiver-style hitch that will work with a '60-'62 Suburban?
Or am I looking at fabricating something? -Brad

It is doubtful that you will be able to find a bolt on factory made receiver hitch. You might take a look at a hitch for either a say '85 full sized van, or the '88-'98 trucks. Those both have wider frames, but I don't know exactly how they compare to the '60-'62 suburbans.

I have a 65, Got mine at the local swap meet. Had to do a little fabricating.

I used an adjustable hitch that are meant for motorhomes. No welding necessary, even though I welded the seams on mine. Here are some pics. I could probably find the part number if you are interested:
