Fleetside tailgate
I have a tailgate that came with my '68 C10 for sale. The gate is in good overall condition, it does have a few small dents here and there, and a little larger dent towards the top on the inside - but it looked straight to me. It is missing the trim on either side of the handle.
After looking at some of the tailgates for sale on here, I'm going to price it at $350 OBO. I might be willing to drop that price some though, depending on what you guys think. I would also be willing to trade this tailgate for another tailgate (in driver condition) plus cash. I'm planning on using my truck, not having it be a show piece. I am willing to deliver to anywhere within 2 hours of me (Fresno to LA to San Luis Obispo/central coast) for cost of gas money. Will have pics up tonight. Thanks, -Jess

Can get more pics if needed. The flash makes the little dents look worse than they really are. If I'm way off base with my pricing, let me know - I based it roughly on what other gates on here were going for.

I am interested in your trade proposal. I have a gate that is a nice daily driver, but your gate is more of what I am looking for and I wouldn't mind trading. Mine has some character at the top right corner and normal 38 years of wear on it, but would make a great working gate with character like you want. My truck is an enjoy restore. I won't use it for any hard core hauling. I really don't want a new gate because the metal is not as strong as the originals. I live here in Ridgecrest over the mountain from you. Baker’s Field is about two and half to three hours away. I could pull my gate off and take a trip to your house. My only issue is I have to go to Pt. Mugu for 10 days starting tomorrow on a work related trip and won't be back till the 26th, so I wouldn't be able to come see you till about October 2nd weekend. I will take and post some more pictures of my gate for you and if you are interested I'll come to you with my gate and through in a 100 bucks or instead of the hundred bucks I’ll thow in the tail gate band with the gate and trade it straight gate for gate.
