"what is that line x?"

...no its rhino lining

Just traded my 67 for this guy a week ago. I swear Ive gotten more looks, questions, compliments for this truck the first week Ive had it than the entire time I had the 67. It has a few body mods but nothing extensive, but the fun part is it has a 94' lt1 with a carb and hei. the interior is shot right now but im in the process of making some new gauge panels and sub boxes so... when theyre done ill put the results up.

Good or bad Im curious what you guys think. Kids seem to love it but one old guy actually got semi hostile when he found out what the "paint" was.

That's a nice truck, but from my area, you never see 2wd truck with that stuff covering it. it's crazy seeing the round eyes on it too.

Re: "what is that line x?"

My buddy owned a paint shop about 5 years ago and a guy payed him to do the same thing to his square body chevy, only difference was this truck was a 4x4 and ranch truck.

Your truck is very practical. I have painted one truck so far and after all the work, every little ding and scratch you just get more disgusting. Bed-liner looks as good as paint to me!

Re: "what is that line x?"

Uuhhm, well its uuuhhhm different. Like everyone else, I can see it on a 4wd. Not so much on a 2wd, but what the heck. It would be my first choice, but I wouldn't kick it out of the garage.

Re: "what is that line x?"

Ha, yeah thats what I thought too but honestly these trucks arent exactly rare and neither are the parts so I dont worry too much about it.

The lights are set up for phantom but I cant afford a grille just yet. Im also thinking of doing a light set up like the later ones that have four headlights, only using round ones, and a new front bumper with the signals in it.

I think that trend is changing, is anyone else noticing alot more of these trucks driving around? I think people are repairing them instead of signing your life away on way over priced new pickup.

Re: "what is that line x?"

A friend of mine went to a welding shop, and had a fanthom grill made for under a hundred... and got home painted it black and it looked really nice... if you know how to weld you can probly make your own...

The truck will hopefully never rust... pretty cool
