what size
what size driveshaft do i need for a longbed with a stick and also how much trouble is it to replace an automatic with a stick and i was also told one time that i can put the stick in without modifing the tranny hump but it would just be a tighter fit is this true? all help is highly appreciated

I think I had to lop 9 inches off my driveshaft when I installed a TH350 . My motor is set back in the big block position though so its a bit farther back than yours is although the inches getting chopped should be the same. If your going to 4 speed ( truck ) from an auto you just need to add some. Easier and cheaper to get one out of the junkyard IMHO.
I think you'll need a hi hump if you go to the 4 speed. there will be a lot sticking up through the center if you dont. At least the NP435 needed one.
