I bought this truck from a friend a few years back i did a clean up on it and never really drove it,but i loved the old truck.A buddy of mine saw it and also loved it and bought it from me about two years ago.He then sold to a friend who also had to have it . He shipped the truck back to ohio a few months lator and the night it showed up and big tree fell on it. The dude never got to drive it. after a few more months He then sold the truck back to my buddy he bought from(craig) which took the truck to a friend of both of ares in ohio which has the sister truck to this and borris kinda fix the roof ( borris also bought my 51 gmc ) and also bagged the truck at the same time.Craig who is from ohio and know lives az was try selling it on ebay which it never sold. i had just bought back my 66 gmc which i sold 2 years ago about the same time i sold my 61,(geeez) and made a deal with craig to get my 61 back and it showed up today from ohio!! and it still kool!!

Re: Man its like a bad country western song

if i recall correctly, i told you a long time ago to let me know if you ever decided to sell that thing of course, it wasn't something you wanted to get rid of at that time....i have since moved on though the truck does still look really cool...one thing that jumps at me is the killer patina...what do you have in store now that you have it back?

It looks in remarkably good condition considering a tree fell on it. Those shots with the tree on it are heartbreaking.

If you love something let it go, if it doesn't come back...
It was never yours.
If it comes back, it's yours forever... LOL

I've seen that rig before always liked it... I think it's a keeper!!!

Re: Man its like a bad country western song

I talked to Borris at a GoodGuys show about a month ago about that truck. Then a couple of weeks later he brought his 61 to a local show. Both trucks are killer! Now I'm really itching to finish mine.
