Steering/hugger issue, need advice

Hi All,

So while working on the accessory bracket today I really got a good look at my rack and pinion compared to my column output shaft. Even with the current hugger headers I have on the block now the steering shaft is going to hit them. I have a set of lake style headers that might work but the problem then is the steering shaft will run between the block and the header, is this really a problem? If so what options do I have to correct this?

Thanks,
Sam

Re: Steering/hugger issue, need advice

I am running a big block with block huggers and had to do a 3 piece steering shaft. Post 342 on page 14 of my thread might help.
