12 bolt axle spline count
Anybody know the axle spline count for a 72 12bolt truck rear?
I dont have one in front of me. 28? 32?

28 is correct, that is if its the factory installed axle and carrier..

12 bolts are 30 spline.

Oops... my bad.. you are correct, I just realized I counted my 9 inch F%$d axle shaft not the 12 bolt one I have..

I believe 30 spline shafts started in 65. Earlier than that are 17 spline.
