Talking 1pc Driveshaft swap 71 SWB Fleet TH350

Hello to all and i am glad to be a member of thge forum since I have started my 71 SWB project truck. I am try to find out if there is a direct replacement driveshaft from a late model PU that I can swap in. Please help! Thanks.

I'm sure if you value your time at all it would be cheaper just to have a driveline sop make ou a shaft with your trans yoke and measurements from YOUR truck.
I think theirs about 6 loations you can mount your engine in these trucks and after 40 years who knows what engine stands are being used, if they have been swapped from left to right or if someody started drilling holes.

I think ***disclaimer*** because it is me just thinking...but search around this site a bit because I seem to recall that 88-98 swb has a similar length like 56 3/4" or 58 3/4" something like that. Anyways those are fairly easy to find and cheap.

So many varables as stated above. Best off taking a measurement with a tape and go on the hunt. I ended up getting the last two trucks custom done by a close friend who has welded many a shaft in his day. Your other choice is take the #'s go to a D/L shop expert. That way they can hook you up with the correct u-joints and be balanced for carefree worries.
