383 Stroker 400HP
Hi all,
I am new to the forum and would like to get your opinion on an engine choice for my 51 truck: 383 Stroker 400HP Anybody has some good experience with a company or bad experience? |

i just received a YearOne vortec 350. I came dyno'd with 407hp and 447ft/lbs for $3200 shipped to my garage. It's not the stroker motor you were asking about, but it has the numbers you were looking at, for a good price.

yep, small block with vortec heads are the way to go for your 400 hp. they are a pretty hard to beat head for the price.
dont forget the 5.3's/6.0 lsx motors!
