68 Brake pedal?

Hi everyone,

I noticed my 68 that runs an automatic has a smaller square style brake pedal rather than the longer rectangular type. Is this correct? It almost looks like the size one would run if they had a clutch. What did an automatic come stock with? thx.

Re: 68 Brake pedal?

pretty sure all of these trucks had the skinny brake pedal, I think in '73 they started putting the wider pedal in the auto trucks.
