p/s question

Can I use the p/s box from my donor 85 c10 on my 65 suburban? see lots of talk about changing the suspension but no mention of the p/s box...will it bolt up to the frame and column??

Re: p/s question

It may be easier to use a column off a newer truck.

Also, talk to Captain Fab about a bracket.

Here is a link that could help as well

http://www.persh.org/pickup/IdeaPage.htm

look in the "modern power steering" section

Re: p/s question

You will need an adapter plate to mount it to the frame, and you will need to shorten the steering shaft on the column.
