Paint code needed ('82 c-10)

I need the paint code for a 1982 Chevy Scotsdale. It is the frosty looking blue with silver on the lower quarter. I can't post a pic because it's already in primer. We primed it before we thought of looking for the code. There are zero stickers in the glove compartment.

Or if anyone can find the paint code using the VIN, just holler.

Thanks,
Putter

Look pretty close to the lower left sample...Light Blue Poly WA-7470. It will be base/clear.

That was the one I was thinking also. The 82 was that color.

This one will be the lighter color blue (shown above) on the top 3/4, and silver from the marker light down.

Well, exactly like this, except silver where this one is white...

that looks really good...are you gonna go with a silver roof where that one's white?

Re: Paint code needed ('82 c-10)

Actually torn on that one. The 'original' silver was sprayed over blue, so when I started sanding, I got to see it with a blue roof....and kinda liked it.
Most likely will be silver top, though.

You get a new truck to replace the 69?

Nope. My former co-worker's father-in-law's truck. Just trying to make a few $$ spending money.

Since everybody likes updates.....here are some pics of the process so far.

There is still more to be done. Some wet sanding and a little more clear. Then put all the trim back on. Then maybe FINALLY I can get this truck back to it's owner.

Re: Paint code needed ('82 c-10)

Finally got it done today. Guy came to get it as soon as I called him, too.

Replaced dash, door panels, seat cover, repaired a lot of electrical issues (window motors, blower switch, cluster issues, etc...)

So here is the end result:
