Speedo cable connection
I need to find out what year the upper end of the speedo cable changed from screw-on to clip-on, and I believe it was sometime during the run of the squarebody style. Can anyone help me with this?
Thank you. Ray |

Re: Speedo cable connection
Thank you 68 TT. The truck I am working on is a 63, which uses the screw-on type. I am doing a transmission swap which needs a longer cable, and I am trying to find out how late I can go and still get the screw-on end.
It is starting to look like the cable might have changed when the 73 body was introduced. Ray Last edited by raycow; 09-18-2010 at 03:20 PM. |

Re: Speedo cable connection
Thanks Jeff. That pretty well narrows it down so I know where to look now.
