Re: frontend swap

No not without a lot of work. May I ask why you would want to do this swap? I see nothing to gain......'65 Impala's don't come with disc brakes. I would suggest going with the '71-'87 Pickup based front suspension. it is pretty much a bolt in and there is a lot of aftermarket support for these suspensions.

Re: frontend swap

Ouch! You mean the one with the strut rod on the LCA? What are you possibly expecting to gain from this swap?

Anyway, to answer your question, the car track is slightly narrower than the truck, but it's not a huge amount of difference. I still wouldn't do the swap though.

Talking Re: frontend swap

One of my retarded friends asked me to ask this.
I told him I didn't think so ether and actually forgot it was narrow lower "A" arms with a strut rod. All his front end is shot according to him. I haven't checked it out yet. I don't even think it's original, he says it has coil springs on the front that "fall out" when it get jacked up so I have no idea what kind of butcher work was done by the prior owner.
A pic of the truck, it's the black one parked in the street.

I agree, not a good plan. He might as well go for a disc brake dual master front set up since it's his daily driver.
