autometer speedo cable?
i have a 79 chevy pu. i am working on putting new autometer gauges in. i have tach and want a new speedometer. it says it requires a screw on speedometer cable but mine is a clip on. what do i do? im lost

new speedo cables are only like 5-10 bucks at any parts store.... find the screw on one, install it, and you should be fine

Try a cable for a 1976 C-10, I think that's the one i used to connect a 350 transmission to the AutoMeter speedo in my S-10.
BTW.....AutoMeter will build you a cable specific to your needs.
