I’m not a photographer, but have some shots from the “Ol’Marais River Run” to share. Some real eye catchers, including my favorites, "Neals49" canopy express, & a newly finished COE that’s just awsome! A little tidbit, the COE has "Jag" front & rear suspension..

I saw entry #1480 on a car,... but I bet there were over 1500 vehicles there.

Thanks for the kind words, was a great show. It is my home show but it gets better every year.

Will you get the point we have many nice trucks in our area...

yep, it was a killer show. I love the layout of the show grounds. Kid, I saw you, but you were talking to a few people. didn't want to interrupt. I saw the wagon. nice, nice!

btw, the aqua 55 burb was for sale but didn't see a price. anybody know how much offhand?

I will have to download the pics I took of the 48? Chevy wrecker. that thing was beautiful!

Keith, didn't know you were going or I would have looked you up! and Nate, it's a definite must see event. you just wouldn't think a small town like Ottawa could have such a great turnout, but I was totally shocked. at 9:30 IN THE MORNING they had 1350 vehicles on the grounds!!!

Will you have pretty much two choices on parkng, power row on the grass next to the concrete need to be there earliest you can and the back grass is lots of room, there is always some place to park you just might not like the spot.

Local show for me so it is more of a BS with friends show...Did have to move down a bit this year as we got there at 6:00 when the gates opened and the line was so long my ususal spots where already filled...but its all good. Lots of trees grass and power parking to go around...

And from earlier quote they broke 1600 entries this year.

That's why I am surprised..Sorry for raising it from the dead....I know Neal, I probably hung out with him for a minute that day.
I saw that COE when the Gentry brothers bought it. They've done some incredible work as has Neal. Neal is a fab genius if you ask me. Adam and his son had that COE at last years All Truck NATS in Riverside.
I'm not sure but, I think the engine in my shop that's getting ready to go into my 68 is from that blue 72.

Hi Kid,
I was at the Ottawa Car Show too - I took a picture of Neals49 but the one you got is beyond cool! I'm a painter and wondered if you wouldn't mind if I used your photograph as a reference for a painting I want to do of the truck.
The paint is still wet on one I did of a Thunderbird I saw at the show - with blue tinted windows! And, by the way, you are a photographer! The photos from the show are fantastic!
