Question Shortbox stepside the same as a Shortbox fleetside??

I have a 4x4 shortbox and want to make a stepside 4x4. Are the boxes the same, I mean will they bolt right in place of each other??

Thanks fellas,

The fuel filler hose is different on the stepsides bed. I havent gotten to that point in my build yet, but from what Ive read it doesnt seem like a big deal.

Re: Shortbox stepside the same as a Shortbox fleetside??

the tanks should be the same you just need the step filler neck and the the rubber to connect them all the bolts line up
side note the step sides also directly bolt to a 67-72 frame
