61 want to lower..
I just got a 61 it has a torsein bar front end what are my options i dont want to spend a fortune on this,would it be bolt on to swap out for a 73-up front end.....Any help would be great...

I have a 61 also and plan to install bags in it. I looked at the control arms and it looks like they just need a place to mount the bags. I "assume" the tortion bars can just be removed when tention is off them. I put bags on my 65 and it was very easy. Im going to use what I learned with that one for the 61.

this is my 61 with the front torsion bars cranked down.
could maybe go like two or three more down with after market shocks

Anoddle we leave in the same town.....let me figure what im going to do..I will get back to ya......Im going to try to tighten down those bars and see what i got.........
