1971 vs. 1972 C10 Doors

Can somebody tell me the difference between a 1971 and a 1972 C10 door? Can they be used interchangeably?

Thanks for the help.

They will bolt up and work fine. The difference lies in an extra screw 72's have under the vent window and the longer door handle and window crank studs to accomadate the thicker 72 door panels. Sharpie

Thanks for the quick reply.

Will the window regulator and latch hardware bolt right in? Will I have to get 72 panels or will my 71 panels fit?

The window and door regulators out of a 67-71 will bolt right into a 72 and visa versa. The other difference is the 67-71 doors are set up for the 67-71 style door panel. The 72 doors are drilled for the plastic clips that the molded 72 panels use. WES
