307 intake and carb
what would be a good match for an intake and carb (4 barrel) for my 307

We run stock 350 cast iron manifolds with Q-jet carbs on ours.
Gas mileage is good, but the 307's are not power motors. They have more power with the 4 barrel, than the 2 barrel setup. I would think if you go aluminum aftermarket, dual plane with a 650 holley, (vacuum secondary), that would work well also. |

I have a Edelbrock Performer and a Edelbrock carb on my 307 and I love it. Had it on for 3 years and and never have any problems. I get about 15 mpg. Convert over to HEI also. Just my opinion

15 MPG with a 4 barrel i get that with my 2 barrel so ya maybe its something to consider the 307 is some what of a power motor i beat my friends 350 hands down thansk for the opinions guys

I would go with the good ol' edelbrock 1406 (600cfm) and a edelbrock performer manifold. It would work well with your 307. Just my .02
