WIW- My Blazer

Wanting to get some opinions on what some of you think my Blazer is worth.

Here's a list of some of the things I've done and photos:

383 with approx. 10,000 miles
Rebuilt TH 350 with shift kit and heavy duty torque conv. approx 1,000 miles
Resealed NP205 same time trans was rebuilt
Dana 60 front with all new wheel bearings, brakes, rebuilt kingpins
14 bolt rear with new wheel bearings and brakes
New exhaust with Magnaflow muffler and 2.5" ceramic coated ramhorns
6" lift with Skyjacker front springs and ORD shackles. Shackle flip, zero rate, and 56" springs in back with DIY4X 5" shackles, all bushings are greasable polyurethane.
Skyjacker extended stainless brakelines front and rear
Tom Woods 1350 series CV rear driveshaft.
Bilstein 5150 shocks
4:10 gears
36" Swampers
New Redhead Steering box
Pretty much everything mechanical is done.

Does have some rust in the usual spots like rockers, doors, and area behind doors but not bad. I have a set of rust free truck doors also. Single wall top with Hickey roof rack in good shape.

Parts stash:

New black seat covers and backs for front and rear.
New rubber floor mat
New outer grill
Nice tach dash
Nice black center console
Nice set of black seatbelts and visors
New chrome front and rear bumpers
New black dash pad
New inner fenders
New Black door panels

Always tough to judge the value of someone elses ride. If I was selling I would price in the $8000-10,000 range. Sharpie

Re: WIW- My Blazer

Reading it I thought $4,000. Seeing the pictures I instantly went to $8,000. The pictures show quality work, and a decent looking body. I think $8,000 is reasonable in a questionable market.
I am not a seriouis 4x4 guy, so I am thinking $8,000 bottom, and probably more ($10,000???) to a 4x4 guy.

Re: WIW- My Blazer

I don't know... I have been seeing some reach good money here lately on the bay.... but times are tough, and the ones I see fetching great money are stock looking rigs. I bet you could easily get $10,000-12,000 for your ride, especially with your parts with it. The thing that is killing it right now that I see are the ugly 80's ford mirrors. By the way, it is a very nice K5 like others have said, and I love the old Hickey racks..... I need to find one someday, but they are all out west. Trevor

I've noticed the prices of some of the rigs on ebay have been going up lately. I agree about the mirrors. I have the correct mirrors for it but was waiting until I switch out for the rust free doors and get it painted. There is probably another $1,000 in smaller parts that I don't have listed.

I got burned out on trying to sell it. Too many flakes wasting my time. People should know where they live and where I live before asking me to spend hours sending pictures and sending long detailed emails only to receive the response of " I'd love to have it but I'm 2,000 miles away." Well NO SH*T did you not know that before you wasted my time. Sorry for the rant. I'm in no hurry to sell it now that I have it parked inside a shop. Anyway I might consider selling but I'll put this out there for everyone. The Blazer is in COOS BAY, OREGON. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ON SHIPPING IF YOU NEED IT SHIPPED. CHECK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT, IF IT'S EMPTY DON'T BOTHER ME. Don't want to come off as an a**hole but after responding to at least 20 people who I believe had absolutely no intention of buying it, I thought I better make it clear.

Thanks,
Shaun

Do you feel it is reliable enough to drive the 2,426 miles from Coos Bay OR to Friendswood TX? Is Southwest Regional Airport the best flight in? All bs aside, what is your bottom dollar price with all the extras you list in this post. IM me if you wish.

Thanks,
Tim
