'85-'87 grille
Is anybody re-manufacturing these or is the salvage yard my only option? Just tried to order an OE grille from LMC to replace my cracked/broken grille and they're no longer available.....and they don't list a re-man piece for '85-'87 like they have for all the other years.

Re: '85-'87 grille
Have you checked a dealer? I bought mine through the local Chevy dealer a couple years ago.

Re: '85-'87 grille
I bought one from a place that sells cheap Asian replacement body parts for cars and trucks. It was about $25 locally a few years ago.

Re: '85-'87 grille
Certifit in OKC has it in their catalog, page 59. http://www.certifit.com/images/catalogs/OK.pdf
Shop price $25.95, List price $32.44. I'm sure you can get one somewhere near you. I can think of 3 or 4 places locally that sell this kind of stuff. Slonaker |

Re: '85-'87 grille
Yeah, here in Houston, I use a place called Autofit. I usually check with them to see if they have something like that. It's usually the same stuff that somebody like lmc carries, but cheaper and local so you don't have to pay for shipping. I wouldn't buy things like fenders and door skins from them but they have their use. I did actually buy a metal cowl hood for a square that fit excellent and was built pretty well. I think I paid under $300 for it, six or seven years ago. It's still on my 87.
