Parting out 72 c10 ac cab with 68 front clip

OK guys if anyone close is interested I sold my motor and trans today so I have decided to part this truck out. If you see anything you want let me know and I will get prices. If anyone wants it all to part out now I would take 1500.00

10/7/20

Bad bad news today. I am waiting to see it tomorrow, but there was a wreck today near my friends shop. A car pulling into his shop pulled in front of a car in the oncoming lane. The car hit him and then run into the ditch where my truck was parked. He it in driver side door. My friend said it is in bad shape. Not sure yet what is salvageable, but he said it smashed the driver side front end and cab almost to middle of truck.

power steering and brakes, tilt wheel, ac controls without switch and one lever broke, 72 bench seat that needs recovered. Very very solid ac cab. One of the best I have seen. disk brakes on front. I am going to try to sell disc with rolling chassis. Wheels also for sale.

Re: Parting out 72 c10 ac cab with 68 front clip

hood is in good shape. Surface rust here and there, but no holes. It is off a 68 gmc i parted a while back. I also have the chevy hood which is ok shape, but does have some bondo on it and rust. I would take

250.00 for the tilt.

Works perfect in the truck although the shifter just slides in hole and is not bolted in, not sure if it is wrong shifter or what it was that way when I got the truck. Shifts fine, but you can slide it out if you want to easy.

250 on tilt

500 on cab no shipping. You will not find a more solid cab.

Re: Parting out 72 c10 ac cab with 68 front clip

The cab needs no repairs except either pop the fuel hole back out or finish the patch on it. Previous owner was moving tank and he did not finish body work there. The rockers and drip rail and cab corners are perfect. I do not see rust anywhere on the cab. No carpet so I can see floor pans easy and they look great. I am 3 hours south of atl.

Would you consider including the linkage that goes to the trans with the tilt? I'd be putting it in a truck that was a manual but will now be an auto so I don't have any of the linkage. Frank

floor in back bed is homemade decking boards with no metal. Be a good driver bed, but rust holes here and there. I would take 250 for it all.
